Hiroshima :)

This week in class we finished up with our feasibility groups and picked our inquiry groups. I am soo excited that I got in the Hiroshima group; I’m so excited to go on and learn more about the decision to bomb. To be completely honest I don’t know a single thing about the decision to bomb Hiroshima, and this is why I choose that subject. In high school I had learned a little bit about the aftermath of the bombing and whatnot but I was never explained the decision behind it. Because of my lack of knowledge I am so excited to go on and learn more about it.

The one thing that got to me this week was when it came to the process of picking the inquiry group topics. I just feel that it was too much for some people.. I know there’s a few people that got upset with the process.. maybe it was too much for us as first year student? I’m not sure, personally I’m loving it. Let’s just hope the feasibility groups did their work and there are no dead ends here.

I can’t really say that I learnt a whole lot this week since we’ve been dealing with the same topics and little bit of knowledge for a while now but I know this is about to change. I’m very excited to start my readings and make progress with my group : )

Good week

I’m so excited that we are going somewhere this term, and I love the feeling of knowing we are on the right track. At the beginning of this term I was a little worried that we were going to fall back into the same slum we did last term- it seemed like there weren’t very many people taking their work seriously. However now that we are in our feasibility groups about to move onto picking our inquiry groups I realise that we have already gotten much further than last term. To a certain point I’m really disappointed we didn’t get to do this last term I’m loving doing this research and learning about all these things I hadn’t previously given any thought. I’m really excited to see how everyone’s final feasibility reports turn out and to move on..... All smiles ( :
